Emory Parker is studying film and television production at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Emory’s creativity first took form in the fine arts. She studied drawing and painting in her earlier years. After performing in her first musical, Emory began to fall in love with acting and singing. Her interest in theatre led her to filmmaking when she won the “Giddy On Up” Music Video Contest, hosted by her favorite actress and singer, Laura Bell Bundy. Ever since, Emory has produced numerous short films and music videos, in which she works behind and in front of the camera. Emory’s background in the arts has been influential to her filmmaking. She aspires to use all of her creative abilities to create thought-provoking and original content.
