Sen. Ted Cruz: 2022 Midterms Are Going To Be A "Tidal Wave," "Everything Biden Touches Goes To Crap"

Sen. Ted Cruz said Democrats realize their policies are "wildly unpopular" and are running away from them in an interview with FOX News host Sean Hannity on Thursday. Cruz quipped everything President Biden touches goes to crap and said he would not be surprised if Democrats say it was the Republicans that instituted mask mandates.
TED CRUZ: They don't. There is a pattern of petty government leaders enlisting their buddies in big tech to silence dissent. They can't defend their views so they want to use power to shut you up. The leaders in Canada demanded that go fund me cut off the money and they stole $10 million that was given to the truckers. They said we will redirect it to left wing causes. Then they said no, we will refund the money. On Sunday I sent a letter to the federal trade commission asking them to visiting go fund me. You can't collect $10 million for one cause and pocket that money and send it where you want. It's the same thing happening with the Biden white house and Joe Rogan. He is saying things they can't control. Jen Psaki calls on Spotify. Take Joe Rogan down. We don't want the people hearing something that we doesn't approve. SEAN HANNITY: Let me ask you this. We have a mid-term election approaching. Even your buddy Beto O'Rourke whom you defeated, the guy that wanted to confiscate everybody's guns changed his mind. Now Democrats are lifting the draconian COVID measures and distancing themselves from defunding the police and ending no bail laws. That's an election year conversion. What say you? CRUZ: Yes. They can't defend their policies. They realize they are wildly unpopular. Now they are running away from them and trying to claim they were never their policies to again with. The white house press secretary says it's Republicans who wanted to abolish the police. What garbage? I am waiting for them to say, it was Republicans who put mask mandates in. And I think people are fed up. They know they are desperate to say anything. It won't work. November will be a tidal wave. Republicans will retake the house and I think the senate also. People are fed up with policies that don't work. We have not touched the inflation out of control. Chaos at the southern border and the utterly inco her weakness of foreign policy.
