Trump: I've Gotten Through In Five Years More Investigations Than Al Capone, Jesse James & Billy The Kid Put Together

Former President Donald Trump said the media suppression of the Hunter Biden story was "probably the largest campaign contribution ever made" in an interview on 'Hannity' on Wednesday.
HANNITY: Well, it's about to happen, not only China and Russia together, now Iran. As bad as the Obama/Biden deal was with Iran, they're now talking about a far worse deal. And Joe wants to import oil from Iran. And he's begging OPEC, and he's dealing with the murdering thug dictator in Venezuela by sending emissaries to Venezuela, things I know that you would never do. Let me ask this question. The media mob got angry at you for saying Putin should release information on the Bidens. Now, we do know that Hunter Biden -- we know about the laptop has now been validated. We know a grand jury has been convened. He got millions and millions of dollars from a Russian oligarch, the former first lady of Moscow, $1.5 billion deal with the Bank of China, $100,000 shopping spree with a Chinese national, also, according to Peter Schweizer, millions more. He got money for a brand-new sports car from a Kazakh oligarch. And then, of course, you have Joe Biden on tape. You got impeached over Ukraine, and Joe Biden bragging that he leveraged one billion U.S. taxpayer dollars and demanded a Ukrainian prosecutor get fired, and the prosecutor was investigating his son being paid millions, the son that went on "Good Morning America," admitting no experience in oil, gas, energy or Ukraine. Now, should we be looking into the potential that the Biden -- Joe Biden as president is doing these deals and had involvement with Hunter Biden? We have evidence that, in fact, that he lied when he said he never talked to his son about these dealings. Do you, at all, believe it's a possibility that Joe Biden could be compromised by these countries? Because I do. TRUMP: Well, of course. And when you look at what happened with The New York Post, which really stood out tall, and I think they really enhanced their reputation -- I believe it's the oldest newspaper in this country. And they -- where they really went out. And you know what? They were essentially shut down, but people are still seeing it. But had that story come out, and then now, two weeks ago, The New York Times came out and essentially admitted that what they did was wrong. And they came out of nowhere with that one. But it would have made a 17-point difference in the election, according to the pollsters, the real pollsters. And, look, we did so much -- I got millions of – you know, we did much better in the second election than we did in the first election. But this would have been 17 points additionally in the election. So, what they did is probably the largest campaign contribution ever made, if you think about it. What The New York Times... (CROSSTALK) HANNITY: That's two weeks before the election, yes. That's two... TRUMP: Yes. No, no, it suppressed -- what they're doing, they suppressed the vote. And they artificially suppressed the vote, and probably illegally suppressed the vote. And nobody wants to talk about it. But it's a very dangerous thing. And now what they do is, they use prosecutors. Look, I’ve gotten through in five years more investigations than Al Capone, Jesse James, and Billy the Kid put together. (LAUGHTER) TRUMP: If I fly over a Democrat state in my airplane, I end up before a grand jury. It's a disgrace. And you know what? The people of this country aren't going to take it. They're just not going to take it. They are weapon -- they have weaponized law enforcement, essentially. They’ve weaponized the A.G.s in the states and the attorney generals and the district attorneys. And, I mean, it's such a horrible thing that they're doing. And I just don't think the people of the country are going to take it. But I just -- based on past, I think probably nothing will happen. Look, we also had a chance, but Bill Barr, the attorney general, didn't want to be impeached. They were vicious with him. They said, we're going to impeach him. They didn't even know why. But they were going to impeach Bill Barr. He didn't want to be impeached. How do you do not get impeached? You just sit back and relax and wait out for your term to end. And that's what he did. And it was a sad thing and a sad day for our country. Then he writes his -- a crummy book, which was so false. But you know what? Had Bill Barr had the courage, a lot of this could have been taken care of.
