On Monday's broadcast of CNN's "Situation Room," Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said that it took "a lot of skill" and "probably some luck" to shoot down Iranian missiles and drones and "We could easily be dealing with dozens, if not hundreds, of dead Israelis today." But "It certainly appears that the way in which Iran conducted this strike was telegraphing the fact that it does not want to be engaged in a deeper, bloodier, long-term conflict."
