CBS' new fall series God Friended Me is bringing a little hope and inspiration to prime time TV. Premiering Sunday, September 30, God Friended Me follows Miles Filner (Brandon Michael Hall, The Mayor) a millenial podcaster who is happy and optimistic, but has lost his faith in God due to the childhood tragedy of losing his mother. His atheism gets challenged when God "friends" him on social media, and starts giving him people to meet and tasks to do, sending him on a journey of faith, hope and purpose.
