New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that the office of the Chief Justice of India comes under the purview of the Right to Information Act. With this verdict ,the apex court has upheld the verdict that was pronounced by Delhi High Court in 2010 on the same issue. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi dismissed the three appeals filed by Secretary General of the Supreme Court and the Central Public Information officer of the apex court.
