An 8-year-old died after an explosive crash in Perris August 15 that also left five others injured, according to authorities. The crash happened near Ramona Expressway and East Rider Street around 5:40 p.m. Cal Fire and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department say they found two vehicles and that one of them was on fire. The Riverside County Sheriff's Coroner's Bureau identified the young girl who died as Camila Leon, a Perris resident.
