HTC One M8 video review

The HTC One M8 is the sequel to last year's flagship HTC One, and the firm is no doubt hoping that with a similar design and features, it will see the same success. The HTC One M8 faces stiff competition from the likes of the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2, but is the only smartphone out of the three to come crafted almost entirely from aluminium, giving the handset a high-end feel. It's also the only handset to boast dual cameras, although this duo of 4MP Ultrapixel sensors didn't impress too much during real-world testing. The handset's 5in 1080p HD screen impressed, however, as did the One M8's overall performance, thanks to the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip under the hood. HTC's Sense skin has been much improved too, and has been stripped back to reveal a largely vanilla Android 4.4 Kitkat experience.
