Supermoon Triple Play of 2017/2018 Explained!

One supermoon is amazing, but how about three supermoons back to back? On Dec. 3, 2017, Jan. 1, 2018 and Jan. 31, 2018 the full moon will coincide with the moon’s arrival at perigee to create a supermoon. That’s three supermoons in a row, two of them in January alone!
