Gingrich: Dealing With The Left Is Not A Political Problem, It's A Mental Health Problem

Newt Gingrich said trying to deal with the left is a mental health problem, not a political problem on Monday's edition of 'Hannity.' Gingrich told Fox News host Tammy Bruce people like AOC are "out of touch with reality" and need therapy. "You have to start with the notion that these are people who need therapy," Gingrich said. "Their level of anger -- I am serious. We try to deal with this as though it's a political problem. It's not a political problem. It's a mental health problem. These people are crazy. People like AOC are so out of touch with reality that you can't have a political conversation with them because you are not on the same planet. They are planet Fantasy Left." "I always tell people, these are folks who saw The Lion King and thought it was a documentary," he said. "They think lions and zebras dance together. They're shocked to discover that terrorists want to kill you, murderers want to murder you, and rapists want to rape you. That doesn't fit their vision because that's not the Disney movie they went to. Then they look at a guy like Joe Manchin and they go, wow, he clearly must be some type of neanderthal. He believes in balancing the budget, no inflation, limited government. I mean what kind of guy is that?"
