During MSNBC's coverage of Wednesday's presidential debate, 2020 presidential candidate former HUD Secretary and former San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro (D) discussed his clash with fellow 2020 candidate former Congressman Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) on immigration and said that O'Rourke "probably hadn't done his homework." Castro also stated that 2020 candidates from non-border states "have a better understanding of immigration law than Congressman O'Rourke."
