How astronomers took the first image of a black hole that's located 55 million light years away

The Event Horizon Telescope has become the first ever to take an image of a supermassive black hole. The black hole is located 55 million light years away in the Messier 87 galaxy. And it offers a new way to test Einstein's general theory of relativity.
