Turley: AG Garland Has Missed Every Chance To Show This Is Not A Political Investigation

On 'Hannity' Jonathan Turley gave his thoughts on the politization of the Justice Department under AG Merrick Garland: "Speak of the problem is that it can be read that way, and I think that Merrick Garland has to show the leadership, not just in assuring the American people that the department will cooperate, but also to take modest steps to show that this was not a pretextual investigation. Every chance he has had to do that, he has not done it. He opposed the redacted affidavit and was forced to do that. Now opposing the special master and is likely to be forced into that. These are steps he could've taken. The fact is that this is filing and has some very significant portions including details that probably overlap with some redacted material and the affidavit, we don't know. But there is a great more detail in this filing that did not appear to violate national security. But they do say they believe they saw obstructive conduct."
