UCLA Students Provide Aid to a Defiant Tijuana Squatter Town

Maclovio Rojas is a village of shanties where the grade school uses an Airstream trailer as a lounge. The Mexican government tried to take over the town but the squatters fought back. The government cut off water and power—residents stole it. Twice monthly, UCLA students set up a free clinic in this town in eastern Tijuana.
