Officials confirm Dallas ICE shooting was ‘targeted violence’ with anti-ICE motive

The gunman who opened fire on an ICE van at a detention center in Dallas on Wednesday had ammo scrawled with the words “anti ICE,” the FBI revealed. It’s the latest violent attack targeting immigration agents — with threats against ICE skyrocketing. The shooting at the Dallas ICE facility, which left at least one dead and two wounded is being investigated “as an act of targeted violence,” the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Dallas Field Office, Joe Rothrock, told a press conference on Wednesday morning.
