Pipeline protests continue in B.C.

Vancouver police said 33 people were arrested early Monday as officers enforced an injunction preventing blockades at entrances to the Port of Vancouver and the DeltaPort container terminal. In Victoria, Indigenous youth continue to camp at the front steps of B.C.'s legislature in solidarity with supporters of the hereditary Wet'suwet'en Nation chiefs who oppose a natural gas pipeline crossing their traditional territories in northwest B.C.
