Three galaxies dating back to 680 million years has been discovered. The trio of galaxies has been designated EGS77 and was found during the Cosmic Deep And Wide Narrowband (Cosmic DAWN) survey which used the 4-meter Mayall telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona.
