<p>Meteorologists in Perth, Western Australia, received multiple reports of a bright light streak across the sky and sounds of an explosion on August 28.</p><p>The <a href="https://twitter.com/perthobs/status/1034419521124089856" target="_blank">Perth Observatory said</a> a fireball was seen over Perth and based on its travel speed and glow of the surrounding air around the object, it was likely a “decent-sized meteor”, <a href="https://www.communitynews.com.au/hills-gazette/news/perth-residents-report-seeing-fireball-meteor-sky-hearing-explosion-york/" target="_blank">Hills Gazette reported</a>.</p><p>Dascham footage taken by Bagus Sugiono on Jandakot Road shows the brilliant flash.
