Harris Spox on if People Are Better Off than 4 Years Ago: Campaigns Aren't 'Retrospective', But People 'Made Progress'

On Monday's broadcast of "CNN Newsroom," Harris-Walz Campaign Senior National Spokesman Ian Sams responded to questions on if 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris thinks people are better off than they were four years ago by stating, "I think when people are running for president, they want to see what are you going to do for me, and it's not a retrospective question, it's actually a forward-looking question." But Harris "thinks that the American people have made progress, but that we have to go even further."
