Watch: US military takes down drug smugglers transporting 391 lbs. of cocaine

On May 13th, AMO aircrews detected a 25-foot Yola-type vessel northwest of Puerto Rico. The vessel carried three individuals and visible packages. Air and Marine Operations teams continued tracking the vessel through the night with continuous aerial surveillance. On May 14th, two Coastal Interceptor Vessels and a CAMB UH-60 helicopter crew were deployed to intercept the vessel. Three Dominican Republic nationals were taken into custody, and five bales containing 391 lbs. of cocaine were seized.
