What life is like on the $11 billion US military base right next to the North Korean border

Camp Humphreys is located about 40 miles south of Seoul, in South Korea. It's the largest overseas US military base in the world. Despite being only 60 miles from the Demilitarized Zone that separates North Korea from South Korea, soldiers and their families live relatively normal lives, with schools, a shopping mall, doctors offices, and even American fast-food chains all on base.
