Rockefeller Center is getting its annual spruce-up. The massive Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was lifted into place in the Midtown hub Saturday, marking the official start of the holiday season. Judy Russ and her 7-year-old son, Liam, helped wedge the stability spike into the 75-foot-tall Norway Spruce that just two days earlier had been growing in the backyard of their upstate New York home.
