Actor Christian Bale thanked Satan after being awarded Best Actor for his portrayal of former Vice President Dick Cheney in the film 'Vice' at the Golden Globes Awards. Bale also made a remark that was censored. "Thank you to that geezer, [producer, director, and writer] Adam [McKay]. He said I have to find somebody that can be absolutely charisma-free and reviled by everybody so we wanted Christian Bale in it. Thank you. And for all the competition I will be cornering the market on charisma-free [bleep]. What do you think, Mitch McConnell next? That would be good, wouldn't it?" Bale said. "Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration for playing this role," the actor said Sunday night.
