Major Ginger Tate Presents Coins from Soldiers in Afghanistan to Joe Biden

Major Ginger Tate of the U.S. Army Signal Corps stood up at former Vice President Joe Biden’s town hall at Limestone College on Wednesday evening and tearfully presented him with coins that she and other soldiers in Afghanistan had collected six years ago in the hopes of presenting them to Biden or then-President Barack Obama. Biden reciprocated with a commander’s coin he was carrying from Afghanistan. The two exchanged hugs amidst applause.
