Watch: RB Leipzig keeping pace

It was full steam ahead for Leipzig in October as they maintained a perfect domestic record with three wins from three, and conceded just once in the process. Their tight defence has in fact been breached only three times all season, while it’s been all about being clinical under hometown coach Marco Rose. They ended the month trailing Bayern at the top on goal difference alone, although faced the bad news of losing star forward Xavi Simons to injury. The big news of the month, though, was that of Jürgen Klopp’s future involvement in the club as Red Bull’s new head of global soccer.
