Fmr. Obama Econ. Adviser Furman: People Have Poor View of Economy Because They're in a Hole Due to Inflation and COVID

On Wednesday's broadcast of "CNN This Morning," Professor of the Practice of Economic Policy at Harvard University and the Harvard Kennedy School Jason Furman, who served as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Barack Obama and on the Council of Economic Advisers and the National Economic Council under President Bill Clinton, said that people have a negative view of the economy despite messaging by the Biden administration on the economy because "Households got into a deep hole because of COVID, because of all the inflation that emerged." And that while there has been progress made, people are still in that hole.
