DeSantis: Agencies Should Have D.C. Footprint Cut 'by at Least 50%' and Especially FBI, DOJ Through More Focus on Field Offices

On Monday's "Hugh Hewitt Show," 2024 presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) argued for reducing the footprint of federal agencies inside Washington, D.C. "by at least 50%." DeSantis also stated that if he's elected, this will particularly be the case with the Department of Justice and the FBI by focusing more on local field offices.
