Dem Sen. Joe Manchin: Anyone Who Thinks Congress Can Fix Obamacare Is "Living In Fantasy Land"

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) joined MSNBC’s 'Morning Joe' on Wednesday to discuss why he would not be attending the meeting with Obama about the future of Obamacare. "In good conscience, I can’t do it," Manchin said. “If anyone listened and paid attention to what the American people said when they voted, they want this place to work.” "Can you imagine?" he said. "With all due respect to all of these people, we had the outgoing president coming up here to talk to only Democrats. We have the incoming vice president coming up to talk only to Republicans. That's not what makes this place work. That is what is wrong with this place." "I'm willing to look at replacing, repairing, doing anything we can to make it better," he said about Obamacare. "But put something on the table." Manchin continued: "I’ve been here for six years. We haven’t fixed very many things, and anyone who has trust or belief that we will fix it, they’re living in fantasy land."
