Germany head coach Hansi Flick has named his squad for the World Cup in Qatar and it looks like a canny mix of youth and experience. One or two of the nominations in both those categories would certainly have qualified as a surprise heading into the season, though considerably less so now given their superb form at club level. It’s a bold and exciting selection to take the next tilt at a world title, with a team Made in the Bundesliga.
