House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) said Friday on MSNBC's "The ReidOut" that if Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) blocks the Democrats from changing the filibuster rules to pass voting rights he should be condemned as being akin to former Sen. Strom Thurmond (R-SC) who was an opponent of Civil Rights.
