Solar Heart-Burn! Sunspot's Love Display Turns Violent With Strong Flare

So much for the love-fest. A formerly quiet, heart-shaped region (AR2529) blasted an M6.7 solar flare that disrupted shortwave radio communications on Earth on April 18th, 2016. Prior to that, the sunspot had been traveling across the Earth-facing side of the Sun for about a week with relatively low activity.
