Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has hailed a Kashmiri Muslim for stressing on the need to collectively apologise for the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley. Sharing a video clip, ‘The Kashmir Files’ director said, “Acknowledging the genocide and apologising for the incident is the first step towards the right to justice.” Hindustan Times spoke to the man from the viral clip. Javed Beigh, General Secretary, People's Democratic Front (Secular), reiterated his claims about the exodus and explained why everyone needs to be apologetic towards the Pandits.
