Tensions flare as anti-ICE protesters clash with agents into the night in New Jersey

Anti-ICE protests at Newark's detention facility Delaney Hall have continued to grow with tensions escalating into the night outside the the 1,000-bed facility. The migrants inside have purportedly been served tainted food, packed into rooms without air conditioning, and had their immigration cases ignored by federal judges though ICE insists conditions inside its centers actually maintain “higher detention standards than most U.S. prisons that hold actual U.S. citizens.”
