The Major League Eating federation’s Gyoza Eating Competition in L.A.'s Little Tokyo featured the No. 1 and 2 ranked eaters, Matt "Megatoad" Stonie and Joey "Jaws" Chestnut. These guys can rapidly down hundreds of hot dogs—whatever. One guy ate 343 gyoza to win, the other won second by swallowing 339. Tiny women competed, including Leslie Ryder, ranked No. 35. Asked why she got into the sport, Ryder said, “I can do that and not throw up."
