Students in Jessica Levine's sixth grade science class test and gather data about biopolymers. Before this lesson, students have already studied the uses of biopolymers and they have created biopolymer substances. They test the substances for tensile strength and consistency -- variables that should be optimized for real-world applications and uses of the biopolymers.
