LAS VEGAS: Lenovo unveiled a few new products on the first day of CES, including this, the ThinkPad 8. Measuring 132x224x8.8mm, the tablet is confirmed to feature an 8.3in, 1920x1200 full HD display with 10-finger multitouch support. The tablet is also confirmed to be powered by an Intel Bay Trail Z3770 quad-core 2.4GHz processor and boast 2GB of internal RAM, so it should be able to outperform most other tablets in its size bracket. Lenovo told V3 that the chipset's low power demands mean the ThinkPad 8 will last up to eight hours with regular use off one charge. As soon as a device is available for an in-depth review, V3 will oblige and test the device's mettle.
