During a town hall on MSNBC on Tuesday, 2020 presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) stated that under a Medicare for all system, "the odds-on favorite is that you will be able to keep your doctor" because 91% of doctors in the U.S. are in the Medicare system.
