Toronto Raptors Fans Go Wild at Kevin Durant's Injury

<p>More than <a href="https://twitter.com/PeelPoliceMedia/status/1138274366540718080" target="_blank">20,000 basketball fans</a> flooded Toronto&#8217;s Mississauga Celebration Square on Monday, June 10, for an <a href="https://www.insauga.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-jurassic-park-west-tonight" target="_blank">outdoor broadcast</a> of Game 5 of the <span class="caps">NBA</span> Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors.</p><p>Warriors forward Kevin Durant, who had been out of action for more than a month with a calf injury, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcSOLHMsJYw&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=83" target="_blank">collapsed with just under 10 minutes</a> remaining in the second quarter and had to be helped by teammates off the floor.</p><p>This added to the hopes of the home crowd for a series-clinching win, but it was not to be as the Warriors held on for a one-point win to bring the series to 3-2, with Game 6 in Oakland on June 13.</p><p>Following the game, an emotional Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers <a href="https://twitter.com/CBSSportsHQ/status/1138298462225571841" target="_blank">told reporters Durant suffered an Achilles injury.</a> Credit: Brock Chrystian via Storyful</p>
