CNN Reporter: Protester Ejected From Detroit Speech Was Repeatedly Shouting, "Trump Has Small Hands!"

CNN reporter Jason Carroll reports from the site of Donald Trump's economic policy address Monday afternoon in Detroit about the protesters who attempted to force Trump off-message by interrupting his speech. Carroll reports that at least 12 women and one man were ejected from the auditorium during Trump's speech. "The last man was escorted out just before Trump's speech ended," he reported. "We were able to make out that he was shouting Trump has small hands, Trump has small hands!" Trump's "small hands" became an issue in the Republican primary when Sen. Marco Rubio mocked the eventual GOP nominee's hand size. Related Video: Rubio Hits Trump: "You Know What They Say About Men With Small Hands..." "They were shouting about a number of different issues, some shouting about immigration issues," he also said. "But what was interesting is Trump, as you say, did stay right on message. He did not let it bother him. At one point he actually made a joke about the protesters, saying that they are really well-spaced out and then saying that Bernie Sanders protesters had more energy and vitality." Trump "kept his cool, and didn't say much" to the protesters, noted CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer. "At the end of the day, this was a speech that was well received by the folks here at the Detroit Economic Club," Carroll concluded.
