Trump: "Talented Legal Mind" Andrew Napolitano* And Fox News Are "Responsible" For Obama Wiretap Allegation; "Talk To Fox"

*UPDATE: An earlier version of this article mistakenly identified Mark Levin's argument that Obama spied on Trump as the subject of Trump's remarks. He was actually talking about Andrew Napolitano's more recent report that Obama used GCHQ (British NSA) to do the eavesdropping on Trump. At a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Trump explained why he is not responsible for his accusation that he was wiretapped by GCHQ at the request of President Obama: "We said nothing," Trump said. "All we did was quote a certain very talented legal mind who was the one responsible for saying that on television. I didn't make an opinion on it, it was a statement made by a very talented lawyer --On Fox-- So you shouldn't be talking to me, you should be talking to Fox." In an interview on 'Fox & Friends' this week, FNC contributor Andrew Napolitano said he had three sources saying that President Obama used British intelligence to spy on Trump in an 'off the books' way.
TRUMP: Probably wouldn't be here right now, but very seldom. We have a tremendous group of people that listen and I can get around the media when the media doesn't tell the truth, so I like that. As far as wiretapping, I guess by this past administration, at least we have something in common, perhaps. (LAUGHTER) And just to finish your question, we said nothing. All we did was quote a certain very talented legal mind who was the one responsible for saying that on television. I didn't make an opinion on it. That was a statement made by a very talented lawyer on Fox, and so you shouldn't be talking to me, you should be talking to Fox. OK?
