Electors from Texas returned the state's Electoral College results around 4:30 central time on Monday, awarding 36 votes to Donald Trump, 1 to Ron Paul, and 1 to John Kasich. Trump secured 306 Electoral College votes in total compared to 232 for Clinton in the November general election. Donald Trump is now officially the President-elect of the United States. The votes will be sent to Congress for official certification on Jan. 6.
